As a transplanted Texan who has lived in the Tampa metropolitan area over 20 years, I enjoy the climate that allows me to remain active year-round. Cycling, swimming, running clubs, and triathlon groups have been a large part of my social circle and lifestyle. People I have met through these groups encourage me and show me that anything is possible with goals and commitment. I enjoy competition for the physical and mental challenges. I owned an antique shop, the White Rabbit Antiques, for over 7 years, which allowed me to meet quite a few interesting people. That experience made me acutely aware of the stages of life, as I worked with people who were shedding their possessions and collections to downsize, live a simpler life, or perhaps plan for the stage of life where they are no longer independent. Stages of life and lifestyle affect real estate decisions.
